So Chris and I scootered over to Citybites for lunch and we’re sitting there talking about scooter rides. We were supposed to do a group ride next Sunday, but I forgot that I have teacher training all weekend. Chris said something about riding out to Pop’s on Route 66. I know he said it with the idea that we would do it some other time. And maybe it was because we saw Up on Saturday and it’s all about living life, but I looked up at him and said “Why not go today?”.
And that’s what we did. Our first long scooter ride. No gear, no water. Just us, the scooters, a camera, and lot’s of sunscreen. And you know what? IT WAS FUN!

Awesome! You guys rock. T & I have wanted to do a route 66 trip forever. She just needs a bigger scooter. That 49cc pos just won’t cut it.
It looks like you guys had an awesome time!
It was a great ride. But the 150s did have to work a little harder to get us back up the hill at one stretch coming home. Dropped from 60 mph to about 40-45 mph.
By the time we left there were about twice as many Harleys and some crotch rockets. We were surrounded. Got lots of waves and thumbs up from most of the other two-wheelers we passed.
I like people with alot of “moxie”!
I am so sorry we missed that. Do it again and we’ll meet you there. Terry & Cindy said they’d come.
It sounds like you guys had a great time! I think “Up” is in our plans for this weekend.
Katrina, can’t wait for the next time! Anna…take lots of tissue.
This is only one reason why you two are officially The Coolest Couple Ever To Couple.
you make me want to be better. and to have a scooter. you make me want. how’s that! ha!
