INDECISION 2008
4 02 2008I was ready for Super Tuesday. I had my outfit planned and I was ready to get out and vote! Then Edwards dropped out. Now what!? I have no idea who to vote for tomorrow. None. Nada. No clue.
Both are worthy and historic candidates. I will admit to feeling a little giddy at the prospect of having a woman president. And I do feel slightly obligated as a woman to vote for a woman (girls gotta stick together). But when it comes to making a decision, it shouldn’t be about race or gender. It should be about the issues and the policies.
And I still have no idea who I’m voting for tomorrow. I could still vote for Edwards, but I feel like that’s throwing my vote away. Chris said that I could vote for whomever he wasn’t vote for and that way our votes would cancel each other out. That’s not only throwing away my vote, but his vote too. I’m thinking of playing the eenie-meanie-minie-moe game or flipping a coin.

Yea, Edwards dropping out really took the wind out of my sails.
Well, looking over your post about which candidates you are most compatible with in terms of issues, it looks like Obama is a closer match for you than Hilary. If that helps any.
Happy Voting! Our primaries aren’t for two more weeks.
For me it came down to whether it’s more important to have the hope of 4 years without the constant hate mongering. The repubs love to hate the Clintons, and I’m just tired of it. However, do not take that to mean that I won’t mark the dem line in the general no matter which of the two gets the nod. But without Edwards in the race, Obama was a natural for me.
Found your blog on a link from Ninjanun. Some interesting stuff.
I am not a woman but I think a womain pres is a great idea but not Hillary Clinton. I cant stand her. My main issue if this Bush/Clinton dynasty lasting what will be over 20 years.
I am also totally against her views on mandatory health insurance. That is a show stopper to me. Plus she is a career politician. I dont trust her or her husband and he is way too influencial in this. He shouldnt be. But he is.
I dont think you should vote for Hillary Clinton because she is a woman any more than I should vote for Obama because he is a man.
Anyway, I didnt make my first post to aggrivate you. I actually came here just to say hi. I have simply become too opinionated.
By the way, Kucinich is who I would like to vote for but now I am for Obama all the way. As I said, we dont know who he is but we know who he isnt.
Well, it was nice meeting you. Check out my blog sometime.
P.S. Our Primary isnt unti May 20th. Way too late to matter
