My car wouldn’t start this morning. Stephanie saved my bacon by coming to get me. Not only am I still all alone, now I’m all alone without a car.
On the way to work, we passed a car stranded on the highway. It was on fire. So, it could be worse. I think I just need a new battery.

Yeesh!
I’m sorry for your bad luck. My car is about to die; the transmission is going out. A new one is more than my car is worth.
Poor you!
That really sucks. If that happened to me while Pete was away, I’m sure I would’ve totally freaked. out.
But hey, like you said, it could’ve been worse. At least you weren’t stranded on the side of the road with a smoking car.
Just checking in from the Traverse City airport here in Michigan. We’re about to board our flight in about 15 minutes.
Anyway, I think the cleaning the corrosion (sp?) off the battery cables only allowed the car to get just a tad more juice from the battery.
See you when I get back. Love you!
Uh, gah. Well, hang in there, Cindy! At least it didn’t burst into flames.
Oh, that really sucks. I hope you’ve found a way to get around.
